Mmadika Moloi is a competition law specialist with over 16 years of experience. Her expertise includes advising on merger control, prohibited practice matters, compliance, and conducting due diligence. Mmadika assists clients during dawn raids and in responding to summonses issued by competition authorities. She has assessed, prepared, and notified merger notifications across Sub-Saharan Africa, including to the COMESA Competition Commission, a regional regulator on the continent.

Mmadika has conducted compliance audits and developed compliance programs for various companies across sectors such as consumer, energy and infrastructure, health, mining, transport, telecommunications, media, and technology.

She began her legal career at Brink Cohen Le Roux Inc. in 2007 as a Candidate Attorney, specialising in labor law, litigation, and corporate and commercial law. In 2009, Mmadika specialised in competition law, particularly prohibited practices, at Werksmans Attorneys. Her focus shifted to mergers and acquisitions from a corporate and competition law perspective in 2011. In 2015, she headed up the TGR Attorneys competition law practice, concentrating on mergers and acquisitions. From 2016, Mmadika expanded her focus to include competition law, regulatory, and corporate and commercial law across Sub-Saharan Africa at Webber Wentzel. She is currently an Executive Consultant at RAMS Attorneys, providing expert guidance in competition law.
